Here, we are providing a detailed academic calendar to help keep students, faculty, and staff reminded of key dates throughout the academic semester and year. It can also be useful for alumni, and parents as well. This blog will talk about all the scheduled events, programs of Le Frehindi with a short description of each.
Le Frehindi’s Plan in a review.
JANUARY- The month of January starts with the Teachers training program (TTP) No#6. As the environment is constantly changing, the skills required for dealing with them are constantly changing. We at Lefrehindi organise regular volunteer training programs for the teachers. Be a part of the educators training at Lefrehindi.
Also, a live TTP program from Helsinki on Finland the education system and exchange will be organized on 24th January 2022. The Finnish education system has been consistently awarded as the number one education system in the world for many years. Finnish school system understands the education system in the best way.
Registration starts for TTP at the University of Grenoble June 2022 program- The registration for the offline teachers training program starts on 20th January 2022. Le Frehindi organises a 15days training program for teachers at the University of Grenoble. These courses are intended for beginners as well as experienced teachers. Different modules are open to teachers according to their expectations and needs. Improve your French skills in the beautiful campus of Grenoble University.
Also, an Online Q&A Workshop will be organized for teachers to clear all doubts and queries related to the TTP program, the University of Grenoble on 29th January 2022.
FEBRUARY- The month full of exciting events. In February, offline Teachers Training Program 7,8,9 will be organized in Delhi, Dehradun & Chandigarh. Both offline and online methods of training have their own set of advantages and disadvantages. The offline training program helps you to communicate and interact better with your fellow colleagues. As each of them brings their own values and experiences. Certificates will be issued to all the participants who attend the training.
We have also scheduled the event of “Launching of books” – It is developed in France in association with the University of Grenoble on APPPP Methodology. This will certainly be beneficial and helpful to bring a change in the teaching methodology in India.
Registration for Summer camps (April/May 2022) for Auroville and Le Frehindi Village- Le Frehindi provides to let your children experience the true cultural exchange at Le Frehindi village, Mukhteshwar, in the lap of the Himalayas. Le Frehindi’s camps are not the same traditional summer camps you attended but a lot more than it. Auroville Nature Camps are no less, Auroville, meaning the “City of Dawn“. This educational activity brings together the children for collective learning and the experience of nature.
Registration starts for school exchange program- Foreign exchange programs provide students with an opportunity to study in a different country and environment, experience the history and culture of another country. Le frehindi brings in opportunities for an excellent study abroad experience for Indian school students looking to expand their global insight. Registration will commence for June/ October/November 2022 trip with French schools in France.
2nd round of International French Spell Bee ends– International French Spell bee is a much-coveted competition and requires dedication. Students gain extensive vocabulary and as a result, excel at reading, writing and speaking of the French language. French spell Bee is conducted in three rounds, at the school level, zonal level and the final round. 2nd round of International French Spell Bee ends followed by the commencement of the final round.
MARCH- Offline TTP Programs- We at Le Frehindi organize regular volunteer training programs for the teachers. In March we would be organizing offline TTP program #10,11,12,13 again in four different cities Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore.
Mentorship Training with Certified Partner Institutes– In collaboration with different partner institutes, Le Frehindi conducts evaluation tests for levels A1, A2, B1 and provides certificates.
Launch of summer internship programs for university students- Internships provide university students with a melange of corporate experience and University study programs. These are generally for 6-8 months.
Launch and Registrations for « Principal’s FAM Tour » to be conducted in June 2022.
APRIL- Live Virtual Tour of Musée du Louvre- Le Frehindi ensures learning creatively. Live virtual tours will be conducted for French teachers from Paris. This would be a part of Teachers Training Program #14.
International French Spell Bee 2021- The final stage of the most prestigious competition for many school students learning the French Language in Asia. The final round for French Spell Bee, 9th edition, will be conducted in online mode.
Followed by Launch of International French Spell bee 2022– The 10th edition of International French Spell Bee. Prepare and motivate students to participate in this prestigious and much-anticipated contest.
Launch of « Go Frehindi » Scholarship 2022– Auroscholar powered Program for students in Grade 1 –Grade 12. A Student can take 4 Quizzes. Each Quiz has 10 Questions in MCQ format to be completed in 10mins. Those who score 80% on a quiz gets a scholarship of INR50/Quiz. A student can get a scholarship of INR 1000 every month. Schools and associated teachers may launch the GO FREHINDI scholarship and help the students in becoming more and more knowledgeable and bring glory to the school.
MAY- Virtual Tour of UN Head-Quarters in Geneva- We have come up with an unique experience for French Teachers. This is part of (TTP#15).
Several Live Virtual Tours of the street life of France– Let your students experience and learn more about life in France. The expected dates are from 2nd May- 14th May.
Participate in Go Frehindi Scholarship by conducting workshops in your school in Association with Aurobindo Society. Go Frehindi scholarship helps schools not only fund various contests, books, events, certifications, or outdoor camps organized by Le Frehindi but also put pocket money in the “poche” of students and upgrade themselves.
JUNE- La fête de la Musique also known as “World Music Day,” is the celebration of music and life through free concerts and presentations, mainly outdoors, on the summer solstice each year. This popular manifestation encourages professionals and amateurs alike to play instruments on the streets. We would be organizing a live event for students and teachers from France on 21st June 2022.
Make a pen pal/ send a greeting to your French counterpart in France via Classroom2Classroom.org– Classroom2Classroom is an online platform provided to schools & universities across the globe to collaborate with each other & share on common global issues of global interdependence like biodiversity, climate change, health, cultural integration & education.
Teachers Training program #16 on « Activité Ludique-1 »- Le Frehindi has a lot of teachers training programs planned. “Activité Ludique” is one such program in which teachers are trained on how to modify their teaching methods to make them more creative and interesting for the students.
JULY- La Fête Nationale – La fête national (The Bastille Day), celebrated every year on the 14th of July. Le Frehindi provides an opportunity to experience live celebrations from Champs Elysée for French teachers and students. You get to experience and enjoy the Live Parade Show & events. Launching of Coding Olympiad 2022 in collaboration with Finland– According to the New Education Policy that has been approved by the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance(NDA) government, students will be taught Coding as a subject from as early as class 6th. With technology evolving every day, coding is an extremely useful skill to possess. To promote an environment of coding in India, Le Frehindi brings to you Coding Olympiad. You can participate and learn new things. Exciting awards await the winners.

French Spell Bee workshops online/offline in your schools for your students- French Spell bee workshop is a complete package that will enhance the performance of a participant and drive better results for the schools and teachers. These workshops will encourage students and provide knowledge on, how events such as the International French Spell bee play a major role in their development as multi-linguistic person. The workshop will be conducted by Le Frehindi-Paris team members.

OCTOBER- Start of 2nd Round of International French Spell bee 2022.- The second round is at the zonal level. As in India schools from different zones participate- North, South, East, West and Delhi has a separate zone as we have most of the participant schools from Delhi.
Live « India at 75 » flash-mob show for teachers & coordinators – Starting of Amrit Mahotsava, Over the years, India has transformed modernity with traditions simultaneously. We will let France discover New India. India at 75 events ( Amrit Mahotsav ) in 2022 & 23 in France to be organized by Le Frehindi. This event is a 4-day program that will take place in Lyon to celebrate and showcase New India. This is open to all teachers and coordinators irrespective of foreign language.
NOVEMBER- Roll out French Film Festival in your school- Film festivals are organized in partner schools which is followed by Q/A round.
Live « India at 75 » event in France for the students will be organised by Indian Embassy, Paris.
DECEMBER- La Fête des Lumières- Deepawali is the festival of lights for India. For France, it is Fête des Lumières at Lyon in France. Every year, several millions of people come to Lyon for the so expected event that illuminates the city. Every year a free live virtual tour from Lyon is organized by Le Frehindi-Paris.
