Jour de la Bastille – French National Day Celebrated in Schools Across India

“LIBERTY, EQUALITY, FRATERNITY”

It is not just a slogan but the guiding principle to establish a peaceful society today and for the future generations. As always it is our young global citizens who are taking the lead and opening the way forward by putting these principals into action.

Students across schools in India celebrated “Bastille Day” also known as French national day on 14 July. On this occasion the director of LE FREHINDI, Mr. Haru Mehra was invited as a chief guest at various schools in New Delhi.

At Le Frehindi we delighted to be a part of this celebration.

“Bastille day” commemorates the storming of bastille which became the turning point in French revolution. It also symbolises the solidarity of the French people in the face of upheaval in 1789 which became a turning point of the French revolution and led to the establishment of peace.
