Indo-French Cafe Meet of 14th July at Le Frehindi

The French wine & cafe meet will be organized at Le Frehindi on 14th July 2012.

July 14th is Bastille Day in France. It symbolizes the end of the Monarchy and the beginning of what is now called the First French Republic. The Bastille, a prison at the time, was stormed on July 14, 1789. This event came to represent the end of the king’s power and the transfer of power to the people.

The French Cafe & Wine Meet will have the following Agenda :

The event will open with an discussion on the importance of 14th July for the French.

It will be followed by the following an exclusive section on Wines by Col.Joshi :
1. History of French wines.
2. French wines Vs New World wines.
3. Wine regions of France.
4. Major French grape varieties.
5. Storing and Serving wine.
6. How to open a wine bottle.
7. How to taste wine

This will be followed by some hilarious Frehindi Poems by M. Haru Mehra over a cup of Cafe cool.
