Preliminay Round of the 11th Iternational French Spell Bee 2023-24

Le Frehindi Under the patronage of Indian Embassy in Paris keeps on organizing The International French Spell Bee every year that attracts thousands of students all over the Indian sub-continent and overseas as well, the grand finale composes of 3 rounds that keep on filtering the students to reach a winner. The 11th edition of the International French Spell Bee saw many talented students on their journey to master the French language.

The Preliminary round took place in the Conference Room-1

Le Frehindi organises the International French Spell Bee every year for school students all over the country who have a passion for the French language and are willing to learn the spellings of this beautiful language. This year marked the 11th edition of the International French Spell Bee on 27th January ,2024 .The event was filled with the participation of many talented school students all over the country.

The first round of the event also termed as the preliminary round acted as the first obstacle of the day for the talented students to tackle in order to perform in the finals, the participants from Debutant, Intermediate and Advance levels all had to pass through this stage in order to refine themselves and be sorted for the secondary round.

The preliminary round took place in the Conference Room-1, which started from 9 am and lasted for about 45 minutes. Teachers were also allowed to accompany their students in order to maintain full transparency and to boost the confidence of their students. Students were taken to the conference room by our volunteers according to their levels. The students listened to the audio having 20 words in each level to which the students were supposed to write the spellings, many students excelled and scored 20 out of 20.

Students from all three levels were then taken accordingly to their turn in the conference room in order to merit the best cream among them, many of them left with no mistakes and scored 20 out of 20.

The selected students who scored the best in the preliminary round were then qualified for the secondary round that started on 10:10 am at CD Deshmukh Auditorium, India International Centre, New Delhi.
