International French spell bee organized by Le Frehindi in Auroville helps individuals to be culturally immersed and also develop a sense of global citizenship as Auroville is known for its diverse population of people from different parts of the world as well as its focus on sustainable living, spiritual development and cultural exchange.
Global citizenship is the belief that people should feel responsible for the entire world, not just their own nation or neighbourhood. It entails appreciating many cultural perspectives and Culture immersion is diving into a culture and surrounding yourself with it. It’s all about interacting with local people and understanding who they are, how they view and interact with the world, and having an opportunity to experience the culture for yourself.
Exploring Auroville which is a unique international community located in Tamil Nada ,India, through International French Spell Bee is a great way to experience both global citizenship and cultural immersion.
Participating in events like International French Spell Bee helps would provide an opportunity to interact with students from various nationalities and cultural background and will help students to appreciate different cultural perspectives which in turn will help in developing a sense of global citizenship all while engaging in fun competitive french language activities.
Auroville is home to nearly 60 different nationalities. People from different cultural background come together to live a sustainable life. Thus participants of International French Spell Bee would get to a chance to gain new insights about people from different nationalities and develop a better understanding of it.
