Concours d’Orthographe ( French Spelling Bee Competition ) – 2nd Round by IATF- North

The second round of the French Spelling Bee competition was a total success with support from all corners by one & all.

The buzz on the event started early morning when the office bearers of IATF including Mr. Haru Mehra & Ms. Pearl Jindal arrived early morning along with the team of Goyalsaab – the sponsors of the event.

The excitement of the participating children was so much that many of them arrived as early as 8 am to the amusement of many joggers who where out on an early morning jog at the nearby beautiful Nehru Park.

The beautiful location was ‘Ethiopian Cultural Center’ at the heart of Embassy Area in Ne Delhi, arranged none other then the legend in Travel Trade in India, Mr. Subhash Goyal – The Chairmen of STIC Travels Ltd & official GSA of Ethiopian Airlines”.

Soon after the students started arriving in their school buses and also some with parents and registering themselves for the event by paying the registration changes of Rs.300/- ( Three hundred only ) and collecting their lunch coupon from the team of Goyal Publishers P Ltd which was managed aptly by Mrs. Shobhna Upreti who relentlessly managed the registration process along with Mr. Haru Mehra. Soon the rush was so much that Mrs. Vini Goyal and Mr. Ashwani Goyal of Goyal Publishers to go involved in the whole process of registrations and guiding excited students around the place.

The 1st elementary level started at 9.30 am, followed by intermediate level at 10.30 am and the advanced level at 11.30 am. The corrections where taken care in a special room for Teachers guided & observed by Ms. Pearl Jindal.

The results were announced by 12 noon in front of Mr. Subhash Goyal & Mrs. Caroline Schmit of French Embassy for the elementary level followed by results of intermediate and advanced level within a time span of one hour.

Mr. Subhash Goyal spoke about the spirit of participation and said that those who are not winning does not mean that they are not taking anything with them, they are in fact taking the experience and also told that in life winning is not always important and the participation & representing your school or institution is what matters.

Mrs. Caroline Schmit from French Embassy told the young crowed “Je suis ici en Inde pour vous” and the crowd rapture into claps. The Prizes were in presence of Sponsors Mr. Ashwani Goyal, Mrs. Vini Goyal and Mrs. Shobhna Upreti from Goyal Publishers & Distributors P Ltd and Mr. Haru Mehra – Director – Frehindi Education P Ltd & Treasurer – IATF along with Ms. Pearl Jindal – North Zone President of IATF.

Followed by the announcement and prize distribution Mr. Ashwani Goyal, Managing Director – Goyal Publishers and Distributors P ltd gave a vote of thanks and the event was concluded with a special dinner hosted by Mrs. Vini Goyal at the exquisite Ethiopian Restaurant.

Mr. Haru Mehra & the whole team of Le Frehindi wishes all the winners “Bon Courage” for the Chennai National Championships.
